Klay Thompson, safety inspector?
After several people were hurt on Sunday when scaffolding collapsed in Soho, Fox 5 set off on a man-on-the-street interview.
They stumbled upon the NBA’s everyman: Thompson.
The 27-year-old Warriors shooting guard, who was in town to play the Brooklyn Nets, wasn’t too big-time to give his humble assessment of the scaffolding situation in the Big Apple.
“I usually observe if the piping and stuff is new. Sometimes you know, something looks like it’s been there a while, and I try to avoid that,” he told Fox 5.
The Warriors’ brass can rest easy knowing their sharpshooter isn’t playing fast and loose with sidewalk structures.
