Even a stunning late victory over the 76ers couldn’t put Russell Westbrook in a forgiving mood Saturday.

Westbrook and Philadelphia star Joel Embiid got tangled up a couple times down the stretch of the Thunder’s 117-115 victory, and Westbrook, who ultimately fouled out, still was salty about the exchange after the game.

Asked if he and Embiid were OK with each other, Westbrook’s response was short and profane.

“F–k no,” the former MVP said.

Westbrook hit the floor out of bounds under the basket after a hard foul by Embiid late in the fourth quarter. Westbrook then fouled out with 14.9 seconds remaining after he got Embiid while shooting a 3-pointer.

Embiid made all three foul shots to tie it at 113, and Jimmy Butler’s driving layup put the 76ers in front with 6.9 seconds to go. But Paul George converted a four-point play with 5.1 left to provide the winning margin. Philadelphia had one last chance, but Butler missed a 3-point attempt in the final seconds.

Embiid later sounded unsure why Westbrook was so upset.

“I don’t know why he was mad,” Embiid said told reporters. “But he’s always in his feelings.”

The Thunder, who had lost five of their previous six games, now have beaten the 76ers 19 straight times, so if nothing else, Westbrook has bragging rights over Embiid in this rivalry.
