Luke Kennard has put Savannah Chrisley in the rearview mirror.
The Detroit Pistons rookie, after calling it quits with the “Chrisley Knows Best” starlet in August, appears to have rekindled his romance with former University of Cincinnati cheerleader Anna Castro. The couple, first linked last fall while Kennard, 21, was still at Duke, per Busted Coverage, parted ways ahead of this year’s NBA draft. The 6-foot-6 guard hit the Barclays Center in June with Chrisley, 20, at his side.
“Yep y’all…he’s my guy 😍 could not be more proud of him!!” Chrisley posted on Instagram at the time. “Thank you for choosing me @lukekennard5 ❤️ #nbabound🏀 #dukenation #myboyfriendishot.”
The pair called it quits two months later, after Kennard was selected No. 12 overall by the Pistons.
“The last four months I’ve been dating Luke have been great but as a young woman of faith I made the decision that with where Luke and I both are in our careers, it was best to part as friends rather than deal with the pressures of wondering if you are the only one,” Chrisley said in a statement to E! News in August.
“I was brought up to know my worth,” she continued. “I’m 20 now and so excited to live my life as beautifully as God intended. I will forever love the Kennard family.”
Chrisley later said she “dodged a bullet,” while Kennard remains focused on the future, which now includes Castro.
Weeks before Christmas, the petite brunette gushed about watching Kennard hit the court before his time at Duke.
“Still in the stands cheering him on just as obnoxiously as I did when he was in high school.. I guess some things never change 😉❤️,” Castro wrote on Instagram.
Kennard went on to praise Castro on his own social media feed days later.
“New uniforms are sooo nice ! Oh and she’s pretty too😏,” Kennard posted.
