Rex Ryan did wear Browns colors on Sunday, but he’s not getting any credit for the team’s 40-25 victory over the Ravens.

“Absolutely not,” quarterback Baker Mayfield told reporters when asked if the boisterous ESPN personality added a spark to his play.

“Rex Ryan does not get any credit for this week’s win,” he continued.

Mayfield, who has been embroiled in a war of words with Ryan over the past week, completed 20 of 30 attempts for 342 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Ryan previously chastised last year’s first-overall pick, calling Mayfield a “one-read quarterback,” and “overrated as hell.”

Mayfield later responded to Ryan’s criticism, stating, “Whatever. In the wise words of [Browns coach] Freddie Kitchens, ‘If you don’t wear orange and brown, you don’t matter.'”

“Rex Ryan doesn’t have any colors right now for a reason, so it’s OK,” the quarterback added.

Ryan last wore red, white, and blue as the head coach of the Bills. He was fired in 2016.
