You love to see it: Drama, bad blood, awkward homecomings and grudge matches. The 2020 NFL season has it all.

With the much-hyped NFL schedule dropping last week, The Post has compiled a list of ten juicy, must-watch revenge showdowns.

Week 5: New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys, 10/11

Jason Garrett served as a member of the Cowboys’ coaching staff from 2007 to 2019 and was head coach for nine and a half seasons before he and the team parted ways in January. This will be the first time he faces up against his former team at his new post as the Giants’ offensive coordinator. The Giants’ real challenge could come on the other side of the ball versus Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb.

Week 6: Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers, 10/18

This Week 6 matchup is less than one year removed from a nasty brawl that broke out when Browns defensive end Myles Garrett swung his helmet at Steelers backup quarterback Mason Rudolph. The incident resulted in 35 fines across both teams and Garrett’s indefinite suspension.

Steelers wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson were also concussed by helmet-to-helmet hits from defensive backs Greedy Williams and Damarious Randall earlier in that game.

While this is the second time these two teams will meet since the melee, it will be the first one with Garrett. It’s also safe to say that these the sour memories have not faded. Expect the referees to be on high alert for any tomfoolery.

Week 7: San Francisco 49ers at New England Patriots, 10/25

This will be the first time 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will return to Foxboro since his midseason trade back in 2017.

Sadly, Tom Brady has departed for a warmer climate in Tampa Bay so there will be no head-to-head showdown. Garappolo will have to settle for Bill Belichick’s B-team led by Jarrett Stidham, assuming the Patriots do not sign another quarterback before then.

Week 14: New England Patriots at Los Angeles Rams, 12/10

It’s a rematch of Super Bowl 53, which was the lowest-scoring title game of all time. The Patriots were victorious 13-3, with the Rams punting a whopping nine times. They were also intercepted once and missed a field goal to effectively end the game.

After the scheduled was released, it was reported that the Rams were already “a little irritated” with scheduling of the Thursday night matchup because they will have to travel from Arizona on a short week, while the Patriots will already have been in Los Angeles having played the Chargers in Week 13.

Jared Goff won’t get a shot at Brady this time, but he will have the opportunity to relish in a redo against Belichick following what he considers his “toughest loss.”

Week 14: Houston Texas at Chicago Bears, 12/13

A Texans-Bears showdown would have little significance if it were not for the 2017 NFL Draft. The Bears infamously passed over Deshaun Watson and traded up to the No. 2 overall pick to select Mitch Trubisky, who started just 13 games at North Carolina.

The transaction cost the Bears their 2017 third- and fourth-round picks and their 2018 third-round pick, while the Clemson All-American fell to No. 12.

It’s bad enough that the two careers have had divergent success, but the Texans’ QB added to the intrigue on Friday when he revealed that the Bears had never even contacted him. There’s a good chance Trubisky will have lost his job to Nick Foles long before the “2017 NFL Draft Regret Bowl,” which only further underscores the Bears’ unfortunate choice.

Week 15: Cleveland Browns at New York Giants, 12/20

This will be the first meeting between Odell Beckham Jr. and his former team. The effervescent receiver was traded to Cleveland in a blockbuster deal back in 2019 after multiple outbursts of frustration with the Giants. Expect this homecoming to be rife with emotion following their messy breakup.

Week 16: Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints, 12/25

The Saints will face the Vikings in the penultimate game of the season, less than a year from a painful loss in the NFC wild-card round. Two turnovers, some questionable officiating and a missed 43-yard field goal as the clock ran out before halftime will haunt head coach Sean Payton as the team fell 26-20 in overtime.

The Saints are in win-now mode and arguably improved over last year’s squad, which finished 13-3 atop the NFC South, while the Vikings have lost a significant chunk of their secondary this offseason.

Week 16: Chicago Bears at Jacksonville Jaguars, 12/27

The Jaguars dealt Foles to the Bears this offseason in exchange for for a compensatory fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Jaguars are indebted to the journeyman signal-caller — who started just four games last year — for a significant chunk of change as his contract carries an $18.75 million dead cap hit in 2020.

Assuming Foles wins the starting role from Trubisky, he will face off against 2019 sixth-rounder, Gardner Minshew II, who stepped in after his collarbone injury last season and stole the hearts of Jacksonville fans.

Week 16: Washington Redskins at Carolina Panthers, 12/27

New Washington head coach Ron Rivera will face his former team, which dismissed him midseason last year after a 5-7 start. Rivera had coached the Panthers since 2011 and was hired by the Redskins days after the regular season ended.

The Redskins also added former Panthers backup quarterback Kyle Allen this offseason to back up 2019 first rounder, Dwayne Haskins.

Week 16: Cleveland Browns at New York Jets, 12/27

Week 16 is teeming with drama with four revenge games on the slate. The Jets have already lost to Baker Mayfield — who was drafted No. 1 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft ahead of Sam Darnold — twice now. In their Week 2 meeting last season, Jets backup QB Trevor Siemian stepped in for mono-ridden Darnold and took a dirty hit from Garrett, which resulted in a season-ending ankle injury.
