While starting quarterbacks continue to drop like flies, the one who voluntarily took a knee is itching for another chance.

Colin Kaepernick’s agent has reached out to the many teams in need of another signal caller, according to reporter Chris Williamson.

The former 49ers quarterback hasn’t played a down since opting out of his contract in 2016, the same year he knelt during the national anthem in protest of police brutality and social injustice, but continues to work out in hope one desperate franchise will sign him.

The Colts, who suddenly lost starter Andrew Luck to retirement two weeks before the season, passed on Kaepernick, instead signing then-backup Jacoby Brissett to an extension.

Kaepernick has been pressing for a job, and in August posted a video to social media of himself working out with the message, “still ready.”

Last February, Kaepernick reached a confidential settlement with the NFL after alleging the league blackballed him. The 31-year-old led San Francisco to the 2013 Super Bowl.
