Marsahwn Lynch may want to take a page from Drew Brees’ playbook.
After the Seahawks badgered EA Sports about boosting their Skittles-loving running back’s Madden “trucking” rating from a 98 to a 99 — and got brutally shut down — the New Orleans’ quarterback decided to make his case the old-fashioned way: Show and tell.
In a newly surfaced video, Brees nails the moving bull’s-eye on a first-down marker — it’s riding on a field cart — from roughly 15 yards away while a few teammates watch on.
“Maybe 93 Throw Accuracy is a little low for @drewbrees… Thanks for clearing that up @Saints,” EA sports tweeted Tuesday.
The Saints ultimately accepted the gaming giant’s apology, but offered a suggestion of their own:
