Jets wide receiver Eric Decker is getting to keep his jersey No. 87, but it didn’t come cheap.

The Jets announced Tuesday the recently signed Decker would wear No. 87 and the previous owner, tight end Jeff Cumberland, would switch to No. 85. A league source confirmed Decker paid Cumberland $25,000 to make the switch.

Of course, Decker can afford it. The former Bronco landed one of the biggest deals in free agency for a wide receiver last month, receiving a five-year, $36.35 million deal that included $15 million in guaranteed money.
