The Post’s Drew Loftis evaluates all the relevant fantasy football news ahead of Week 16 of the NFL season.
Big Weeks
Tyler Boyd WR, Bengals, at Dolphins (FanDuel $6,300/DraftKings $5,800)
Every fantasy owner loves to see the Dolphins listed as the opponent of one of their fantasy players. Running primarily out of the slot, Boyd should see plenty of Jomal Wiltz, which is great news for those using Boyd this week.
Terry McLaurin WR, Redskins, vs. Giants (FD $6,500/DK $6,200)
You know who else has a poorly rated secondary? The Giants. McLaurin missed the first meeting in Week 4. With QB Dwayne Haskins playing better (not good, just better), Scary Terry could have another big day.
Jacob Hollister TE, Seahawks, vs. Cardinals (FD $5,700/DK $4,200)
If you read the Madman regularly, you know one of our favorite tight ends each week is whichever tight end is playing the Cardinals. The since-injured Will Dissly had a big day in the Week 4 meeting between these teams. Hollister should provide something similar.
Jack Doyle TE, Colts, vs. Panthers (FD $6,200/DK $4,500)
Don’t get too caught up in Carolina’s gaudy No. 2 rank against fantasy tight ends. The only noteworthy TE they’ve stopped all season was Austin Hooper last week, in his first game back after missing three with a knee injury.
Small Weaks
Josh Allen QB, Bills, at Patriots (FD $7,600/DK $)
Allen has enjoyed a strong fantasy season, but one of the few dud outings came in Week 4 against the Patriots, when he failed to notch double digits. This one is on the road, with much on the line. History says that benefits the Pats.
James Conner RB, Steelers, vs. Jets (FD $7,400/DK $6,500)
The Jets have given up 100 yards rushing to an opposing team just twice all season, including last week to the juggernaut Ravens. With little in the way of a passing game threat, even with JuJu Smith-Schuster possibly back, so all eyes will be on Conner.
Emmanuel Sanders WR, 49ers, vs. Rams (FD $6,400/DK $5,500)
Five of his past six games have been brutal. The Rams’ defense is playing better of late, last week’s Dallas debacle not withstanding.
Kenny Golladay WR, Lions, at Broncos (FD $7,400/DK $6,500)
With Marvin Jones Jr. out, Golladay is likely to get a Chris Harris Jr. shadow. In the eight games Harris has shadowed receivers this season, according to Pro Football Focus, he has allowed an average of 2.3 receptions on 3.3 targets for 36.4 yards — and just one touchdown total.
