The Post’s Drew Loftis evaluates all the relevant fantasy football news ahead of Week 9 of the 2020 NFL season.

Cam Newton QB, Patriots, at Jets (FanDuel $7,600/DraftKings $5,900)

We’ve dropped him on most of our rosters, but if you have him, or can get him, and need a QB, this is one of the few weeks we would feel confident using him.

Chase Edmonds RB, vs. Dolphins (FD $7,400/DK $6,800)

This seems like a no-brainer, and it is. But we want to make sure how much of a must-start he is: We put him behind just Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara, Derrick Henry and James Robinson — and ahead of even Christian McCaffrey, in his first game back.

Marquise Brown WR, Ravens, at Colts (FD $5,800/DK $6,000)

Against a stiff run defense, we expect Baltimore to lean on the air game, and are awaiting a breakout from Lamar Jackson. Brown has a plus matchup vs. primarily CB Rock Ya-Sin, according to PFF.

Randall Cobb WR, Texans, at Jaguars (FD $5,400/DK $4,500)

Expect to see him match up most often vs. Tre Herndon. That significantly favors Cobb.

Ryan Tannehill QB, Titans, vs. Bears (FD $7,400/DK $6,300)

No QB has topped 20 points vs. the Bears this season, and QBs score 4.8 fewer points on average against Chicago — second-stringiest in the league. The Bears are much more vunerable on the ground, ranking 12th.

David Montgomery RB, Bears, at Titans (FD $5,900/DK $5,700)

Tennessee has allowed no more than one rushing TD in all but one game. Though the Titans have yielded big weeks, those were to RBs much more skilled than Montgomery. We this think presumed favorable matchup is a mirage.

Devin Singletary RB, Bills, vs. Seahawks (FD $5,800/DK $4,700)

The Zack Moss factor is enough, but combined with Seattle’s weakness vs. the pass, the decent showing vs. middling run games like that of the Bills, and it tilts this away from Singletary.

DJ Chark Jr WR, Jaguars vs. Texans (FD $6,400/DK $5,200)

He is in a nice matchup, but he also will have Jake Luton as his QB, not Gardner Minshew. So if you’re waiting for the Chark breakout, you’ll likely be waiting longer.
