Getty ImagesAn 0-10 record would have you alive for a playoff spot at this point of the season in the NFC East in 2020. Unfortunately for the Jets, 0-10 in any other division this season or any season in NFL history has you finished. The Jets’ 34-28 loss to the Chargers Sunday officially eliminated them from playoff contention. While it was a loss for the team, it was a win for Jets fans, keeping them atop the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes. That’s something Jets fans have to be thankful for when they stuff their face with turkey, stuffing and corn bread this Thanksgiving. To break down the loss, the schedule ahead, the Dolphins matchup and Thanksgiving food, we bring you a brand new episode of the “Gang’s All Here” podcast with Brian Costello and me.

Gang’s All Here opening segment with Jake & Coz
- 34-28 loss to Chargers. Missed extra point, Joe Flacco pick six, Braxton Berrios not even trying anything on the punt return to end game.
- Eliminated from playoff contention. Staying competitive in games, but losing is good for Tank for Trevor crowd. Have not been in contention for playoff spot in five years.
- Frank Gore could go 0-16 in his final season. Feel bad for him. One of best guys in the NFL.
- Adam Gase being a middle man in calling plays. What is point behind that?
- Keenan Allen’s 16 catches more than any Jets opponent ever. The defense is a train wreck. Young secondary will lead to a lot of passing and points by opposing offenses.
- Remaining Jets schedule vs. remaining Jaguars schedule. Strength of schedule might not flip, so a tie would mean the Jaguars get top pick. Could come down to final game against Patriots.
- Chance that Sam Darnold starts on Sunday?
- Jets-Dolphins game preview. Jake says Dolphins win with Myles Gaskin back. Coz as of right now is actually believing the Jets will win this game.
- BURGERS, BURGERS, BURGERS – Coz mentions the 14-hour line in Denver for the opening of In-N-Out Burger. Jake says Five Guys is overrated. Coz is in love with In-N-Out. Smashburger and Shake Shack are Jake’s top two burger spots. Long lines at Shea Stadium for tickets back in the day. Would we wait in line long for anything these days?
- Thanksgiving plans. Turkey is overrated. Thanksgiving better for the sides — stuffing, corn bread, pies, mashed potatoes, etc. Jake going to Boston. Coz with the fam in New Jersey.
I’m Thankful segment
