Jacksonville’s Jalen Ramsey saga is over.

The Jaguars traded the disgruntled cornerback to the Los Angeles Rams on Tuesday, getting back first-round picks in 2020 and 2021, as well as a fourth-rounder in 2021, the teams announced.

The Rams paved the way for the deal earlier in the day by trading Marcus Peters to the Ravens and placing Aqib Talib on injured reserve.

Ramsey had requested a trade from Jacksonville after a Week 2 loss in which he got into a verbal altercation with coach Doug Marrone on the sideline. It was the last straw after getting plenty of public criticism from VP of football operations Tom Coughlin.

“Some disrespectful things were said on their end that made me definitely walk out and call my agent as soon as I walked out,” Ramsey said on the “17 Weeks” podcast in September. “I told him, I said, ‘It’s time. My time is up here in Jacksonville.’ I said, ‘I want to ask for a trade.’”

He had also missed team activities with an illness in the wake of his trade request. He has not played since Week 3.
