Jameis Winston’s first game action for the Saints could not have come in a better better spot.
Winston appeared during garbage time of the Saints’ 38-3 destruction of the Buccaneers on Sunday night, completing his lone pass for 12 yards. His real highlights came after the game. Winston crashed Drew Brees’ postgame interview with NBC and then partied it up in the locker room.

The Buccaneers moved on from Winston, a former No. 1 pick, during the offseason, in order to sign Tom Brady. Tampa Bay coach Bruce Arians made it quite clear at times that he was frustrated with Winston’s performance last season. Winston became the first quarterback to have at least 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in the same season.
Ironically, Brady threw three interceptions on Sunday night as Winston watched from the opposing sideline.

Winston settled for a one-year, $1 million deal with the Saints to be Brees’ backup.
