The Jets will have a new director of college scouting for the second straight year.

Matt Bazirgan, who took over as Jets director of college scouting a year ago, is leaving to become the director of player personnel for the Texans. Bazirgan replaced Rex Hogan, who left for the Colts last year.

According to a report from the Houston Chronicle, the Jets are hiring former Texans director of college scouting Jon Carr to replace Bazirgan. Carr had replaced Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan with the Texans as their director of college scouting and the two previously worked together in Houston.
