MIAMI – The Jets may have suffered a season-changing injury Sunday with Darrelle Revis leaving the game in the third quarter with a left knee injury.

Revis was untouched on the play, an 11-yard gain by Daniel Thomas on a screen. Revis’ knee appeared to buckle and he was writhing on the ground in pain. An MRI exam is scheduled for Monday.

He exited the game and was carted off to the locker room by the Jets medical staff. It was announced he would not return to the game.

Revis, the best player on the Jets, had just returned from a concussion. A prolonged absence for Revis would be a terrible blow for the team.
