This could turn into one expensive tripping call.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh was seen screaming at a referee early in his team’s 34-20 Monday night loss to the Chiefs, arguing a tripping call against Nick Boyle. NFL coaches are still allowed to be mad during these times of coronavirus, but he could run afoul with the league since he had removed his neck gaiter to emphasize his frustration.

In Week 2, five NFL coaches were fined $100,000 and their teams $250,000 for violating the NFL’s mask mandate. The Seahawks’ Pete Carroll, 49ers’ Kyle Shanahan, Broncos’ Vic Fangio, Raiders’ Jon Gruden and Saints’ Sean Payton were all punished.

It appeared the message was received as most TV shots of NFL coaches this week saw their faces covered until Harbaugh’s explosion.
