Johnny Manziel is now using Charlie Sheen as his mouthpiece.
The embattled Browns quarterback, whose laundry list of off-field problems grows by the week, re-emerged Monday after a near two-month Twitter absence. But instead of sharing an original sentiment, Manziel retweeted Sheen’s winning advice from Feb 6.

With Cleveland planning to cut ties with Manziel once the new league year begins March 9, the 23-year-old’s standing in the NFL is murkier than ever. Currently being investigated for domestic violence following an alleged altercation with ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley, the previously rehabbed star refused his family’s request to undergo a second round of treatment and was dumped by his agent.
“His family and I have gone to great lengths to outline the steps we feel he must take to get his life in order,” Manziel’s former agent Erik Burkhardt said earlier this month. “It has become painfully obvious that his future rests solely in his own hands.”
Dallas police reportedly have obtained surveillance footage of Manziel’s alleged assault of Crowley, and the Heisman Trophy winner’s future rests in the hands of the authorities.
