Thanks to a strong neck, Johnny Manziel will not be listed out with decapitation.

The Browns quarterback — only playing because Josh McCown is sidelined by a rib injury — was having a rough Sunday, and that was before a brutal grab of his facemask had the former Heisman Trophy winner spinning.

In the second quarter, with Cleveland already getting beaten up by Pittsburgh, Manziel dropped back to pass. Linebacker Arthur Moats, over-rushing the stepping-up quarterback, stuck out his arm and grabbed Manziel’s facemask. He didn’t let go until Manziel had done a complete 180, twirling the 22-year-old to the ground.

Manziel lost a contact lens on the play and must have had a stiff neck, but he was not seriously injured.
