CORTLAND – Jets running back Joe McKnight will not play in Saturday night’s Jets intrasquad scrimmage, according to a source.

McKnight left practice Friday after taking a big hit. It appeared he suffered a head injury, but the team has not made an official announcement.

McKnight, the fourth-year running back from USC, has battled dehydration issues during training camp and failed the conditioning test when the Jets first reported.
