The Giants will theoretically have a healthy kicker going into Sunday’s game against the Chargers, but it won’t be Graham Gano.

Head coach Brian Daboll said Wednesday that Gano, who injured his groin “during the defensive introductions” before Sunday night’s loss to the Chiefs, will be out for Week 4.

Jude McAtamney, who was already on the Giants’ practice squad, and Younghoe Koo, whom the Giants signed to their practice squad Tuesday, will compete this week to earn the job for the Chargers game.

Koo, 31, was released by the Falcons on Friday after six-plus years as their kicker.

He went 2-for-3 on field-goal attempts in Atlanta’s Week 1 loss to the Buccaneers, missing the potential game-tying 44-yard attempt, and was benched in Week 2 for Parker Romo, who went 5-for-5 in a 22-6 win over the Vikings to secure his spot on the Falcons’ roster.

Koo missed nine of his 34 field-goal attempts last year but is a former Pro Bowler who made 89.9 percent of his field-goal attempts from 2019-23.

McAtamney, 25, made his lone field-goal attempt during his one appearance with the Giants last season as a rookie.

Gano’s late Week 3 injury left the Giants without a kicker for most of the game; he was able to gut through a 25-yard attempt, which he made, in the fourth quarter of the 22-9 loss.

The scenario was reminiscent of when Gano injured his hamstring on the first play of a game against the Commanders last season, again leaving the team without a kicker for what was a 21-18 loss.
