Le’Veon Bell’s time with the Jets is over.

The Jets released Le’Veon Bell on Tuesday, less than two years after the disgruntled running back signed a four-year, $52.5 million deal. In 17 games, he produced three rushing touchdowns and 873 yards on the ground, never quite clicking with head coach Adam Gase on the field.

Despite the team’s attempts to trade him, Bell will officially become a free agent Wednesday.
