The only way Myles Garrett would face criminal charges for bashing Mason Rudolph with a helmet is if the quarterback filed a police report, according to Cleveland police.

As of Friday afternoon, Rudolph has not done so, Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia told The Post.

A police report would launch a criminal investigation into Garrett for initiating the wild brawl during the final seconds of Cleveland’s 27-21 win over Pittsburgh Thursday night.

In a text to ESPN, Rudolph’s agent Tim Younger didn’t rule out filing a report.

“I am gathering all information and no options have been removed from the table,” he said.

The Browns defensive end whacked Rudolph over the head with the quarterback’s own helmet, prompting Pittsburgh’s Maurkice Pouncey to retaliate by punching and kicking Garrett. Garrett’s teammate Larry Ogunjobi hit Rudolph from behind.

All three have been suspended without pay, while both organizations were fined $250,000. Garrett has been sidelined at least through the end of this season.

Garrett, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 draft, released a statement Friday apologizing for the incident and calling it “a terrible mistake.”

Younger did not immediately respond to an email from The Post.
