Despite a bum shoulder, DeSean Jackson was active for his return to Philadelphia. Eagles fans were ready for him.

Before Sunday’s much-hyped return of the speed demon, a living caricature of a Philadelphia fan — donning facepaint, a clown wig and a patriotic Eagles jersey — ripped up Jackson’s jersey like you ripped up ill-fated love notes from your high school girlfriend.

Jackson was released last offseason amid team-fueled rumors of his gang affiliations. Now the enemy in Washington, Philadelphia was not going to welcome him home with open arms. The fan tears the jersey to shreds before symbolically and literally stomping on it as others egg him on.
