Two reports out of the Pacific Northwest have the Seattle Seahawks downplaying their interest in Jeremy Shockey.

The Tacoma News Tribune is brief and to the point, saying there is “not any legitimacy to the rumor.”

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer said the Seahawks “quickly dismissed” the idea, and that the team plans to address the tight end position in the NFL Draft this weekend.
