Julian Edelman might want to ask Tom Brady how to handle paternity scandals.
The New England Patriots receiver has been named in a paternity suit filed by Swedish model Ella Rose, according to TMZ.
Documents filed with the L.A. County Superior Court named Edelman the father of Rose’s unborn baby. The blond bombshell is said to be five and a half months pregnant.
Edelman’s camp declined to comment to TMZ. Edelman and Rose reportedly dated casually for two years, though never officially a couple.
Edelman was recently linked to Victoria’s Secret stunner Adriana Lima. The pair were spotted in Nantucket over the weekend after being introduced by mutual friends in Miami earlier this month.
Brady, who will be suspended for the first four games of the season over Deflategate (second-string quarterback Jimmy Garappolo will get the starts), is no stranger to the circumstances facing Edelman.
Brady was the protagonist in paternity scandal nearly 10 years ago. Brady split with actress Bridget Moynahan in Decemeber 2006, taking up with supermodel and eventual wife Gisele Bündchen a month later. Moynahan announced she was pregnant with Brady’s child in February 2007. The exes welcomed son John Edward Thomas Moynahan that August.
