Tom Brady went virtually untouched in the pocket during the regular season as he was throwing 50 touchdown passes and leading the undefeated Patriots to 589 points, both NFL records. But in Super Bowl XLII, he was reduced to the role of punching bag against the Giants’ Raging Bull defense. Brady was sacked five times and hurried, chased and knocked down from start to finish.
