The Jets’ offseason blueprint for their wide receivers may finally be coming to life.

It’s taken half the season to get to this point, but it appears Denzel Mims, Jamison Crowder and Breshad Perriman will all take the field together for the first time in the Jets’ showdown against the Patriots on Monday night.

Jets coach Adam Gase understandably refrained from fully committing to all three receivers being on the field Monday, but said they are “trending in a good direction.”

After Perriman was limited in practice Thursday, Gase confirmed he was officially out of concussion protocol, and he practiced in full Friday and Saturday. Perriman, who signed a one-year contract with the Jets in April, has only played in four games so far this season due to injury. He suffered an ankle injury in Week 2 against the 49ers that kept him out for the next three games before a hit from Bills safety Micah Hyde in Week 7 gave him a concussion and sidelined him against the Chiefs last week.

Crowder, who is continuing to work through a groin injury, was limited in practice Saturday and was listed as questionable for Monday. But Gase said Crowder did a lot in Friday’s practice and “should be good to go for the game.” Crowder, who has also only appeared in four games for the Jets this season, said he was confident he’d play Monday.

“I think that we can be a very good group,” Crowder said of the wide receivers. “Mims is still young, he’s still learning, he’s still trying to get into the groove and still trying to learn the NFL game, the speed of the game. And obviously BP, he’s a veteran guy. I just want to be at peace to go out there and help contribute as much as I can.”

Mims, the Jets’ 2020 second-round pick, made his NFL debut against the Bills on Oct. 25 after recovering from a lingering hamstring injury that began prior to training camp. He was targeted a combined 10 times in his two NFL games, but made six catches for 84 total yards.

Even though injuries have prevented the trio from being on the field together at the same time, Mims said earlier this week he has been picking Crowder’s and Perriman’s brains whenever he can.

Crowder said facing the Patriots will be an excellent test for the 23-year-old rookie.

“Mims still learning, there’s a lot for him to still learn,” he said. “This will be a good challenge for him, going against a team like the Patriots, it’ll be really good to see how he plays and how he competes.”

It may be hard for the winless Jets to be optimistic against the Patriots, especially if they are without Sam Darnold, but the organization should — at the very least — be able to see what their healthy core of receivers finally looks like together.

“I think it’s just going to be fun, we’ve all been waiting for this moment, to get all us out there at the same time,” Perriman said. “Now we just have to go out there and have fun.”
