Todd Bowles isn’t listening to the head coaching rumors.
The former Jets coach, now the defensive coordinator on Bruce Arians’ Tampa Bay Buccaneers staff, has once again emerged as a potential candidate to take over a team’s sideline.
Instead of polishing his resume for any of the current and soon-to-be openings, Bowles is filling his time with some non-football drama.
“Honestly, my desire is I don’t hear or listen to any of those,” he told ESPN’s Jenna Laine at this Thursday press conference. “I watch ‘NCIS,’ ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ and ‘NCIS: New Orleans.’ I really don’t pay attention or hear about any of those things. I’ll deal with the offseason after the season.”
Bowles went 24-40 over four years the Jets coach, getting fired after a 4-12 campaign in 2018.
When the time comes, he’ll know what to do — the man is apparently a big fan of procedurals.
“I watch ‘Criminal Intent’ and the regular ‘Law & Order,’” Bowles said.
