The Giants’ search for veteran offensive line help continues after they were spurned in favor of the Broncos by former Seahawks tackle Russell Okung.

Okung, who was representing himself without an agent, agreed to a reported five-year, $48 million deal with Denver that boils down to a one-year contract worth up to $8 million because the Broncos hold the option for the final four seasons.

Okung, 28, visited the Giants last week, but passed them over (along with the Steelers and Lions) in favor of Denver, even though the Broncos’ only veteran quarterback option at the moment is former Jet Mark Sanchez.

Okung’s decision appeared to make Denver offensive tackle Ryan Clady available as an option for the Giants, either by trade or if the Broncos release him.

The 6-foot-5, 307-pound Okung, a former first-round pick, was hampered by injury last year but would have been a solid get for the Giants, who have expressed some concerns about the unevenness of current left tackle Ereck Flowers’ rookie season in 2015.

Okung waved off concerns about the Broncos being able to replace the departed Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler when his other options would have been to block for Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger or Matthew Stafford. The Seahawks also had expressed interest in bringing back Okung.

“The Broncos told me enough [about their plans at quarterback] to make me want to be a part of the team,” Okung told reporters in Denver.
