Vikings rookie Cameron Dantzler had to be stretchered off the field in a scary scene during the first quarter against the Packers Sunday, suffering a neck injury after taking an inadvertent hit to the head from his own teammate.

The Vikings announced the 22-year-old cornerback “has full movement of his body” and has been transported to a hospital as a precaution after undergoing an X-Ray at Lambeau Field. The team said earlier Dantzler had a neck injury and was being evaluated for a concussion.

Dantzler and safety Anthony Harris both went to tackle Green Bay running back AJ Dillion, resulting in a Harris’ hip striking Dantzler right in the head. Dantzler fell to the ground and was immediately tended to by the Vikings’ training staff.
