Tom Brady sounds pretty happy with his new living arrangements.

The six-time Super Bowl champion has gone above and beyond in extending hospitality to “good friend” Antonio Brown, allowing his new teammate to stay with him as he adjusts to Tampa Bay.

“Well, Antonio’s a good friend of mine and we’ve gotten to know each other pretty well over the years,” Brady told Westwood One during his weekly interview on Monday night, “So, he’s just getting settled and I know he’s looking for places.  But it’s just nice to be able to have him around and you know, we’re getting to work and he likes to be integrated into what we’re doing and big transition for him moving across the state and not really knowing anyone.”

Brown, 32, owns his own mansion near his hometown in Miami.

“You know, again, just trying to be a great teammate and help someone out,” Brady added.

Brown just finished serving an eight-week suspension for violations of the NFL’s code of conduct after a tumultuous year-and-a-half-long stretch. He briefly overlapped with Brady last season in New England before separate allegations of sexual assault and misconduct came to light.

Brady knows it will take time to build trust after Brown’s ugly year, but he’s doing everything he can to help expedite that process.

“[Brady] guaranteed [Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians] that he would make sure this guy did everything he has to do, even if Brady has to drive him there himself,” a source told CBS earlier this week. “These two are going to be joined at the hip. And they made it clear to Brady that Brown is on a very short leash. If he (slips up), he’s gone.”

The All-Pro receiver joins a hobbled Buccaneers team in desperate need of offensive depth. Star wideouts Chris Godwin and Mike Evans have been battling injuries all year and the team lost tight end O.J. Howard for the season with a torn Achilles.

Brown also reunites with Arians, who served as the Steelers’ offensive coordinator from 2007 to 2011 (Brown was a member of the Steelers from 2010 to 2018).

The seven-time Pro Bowler is eligible to make his debut for Tampa Sunday night against the Saints.
