The Jets are halfway through the preseason after Saturday night’s 37-13 win over the Jaguars.

Here are the Jets winners and losers from last night’s game.

WINNERS

BILAL POWELL – Everyone was excited to see Chris Ivory make his Jets debut, but it was Powell who stole the show. He had a 37-yard run in the first quarter and wound up with 68 yards on seven carries. Powell was the forgotten back when the Jets signed Mike Goodson and traded for Ivory. But he’s been on the field in training camp when they haven’t been and he’s earned an important role with this team.

THE O LINE – The first group performed much better than last week. They opened up big holes in the running game, protected Mark Sanchez and had no penalties in the game. The Jets offense has a lot of question marks at the skill positions. They need the line to be solid.

DANNY LANSANAH – The 27-year-old linebacker is fighting for a roster spot and he made a play to improve his status. He intercepted Chad Henne in the third quarter (he did fumble it but the Jets recovered.) Lansanah has a decent shot of making the team with Josh Mauga sidelined by a back injury. If he can prove his value on special teams, keep an eye on him.

LOSERS

DAVID HARRIS – Yikes. This had to be the worst game Harris has every played. He repeatedly struggled in coverage, missed tackles and was flagged for a late hit. Harris lost weight this offseason to improve his speed, but it didn’t show against the Jaguars. He whiffed on several tackles and looked like he was running in sand trying to cover people. The Jets defense is in trouble if Harris looks like this for long.

DEE MILLINER – Double yikes. The Jets threw the first-round pick into the deep end of the pool, making him a starter as soon as he showed up at training camp, but he did not look ready against the Jaguars. Justin Blackmon had a field day against Milliner, the Jets’ pick at No. 9 overall in April’s Draft. After the game, Rex Ryan said Milliner has to be more aggressive in coverage. He was giving a big cushion on many plays instead of playing press.

REX RYAN – First, his defense looked miserable. Then, the quarterback situation did not become any clearer. Ryan is an optimist, but even he must be wondering about this season. It’s not looking good for Ryan.
