The Bruins won Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday night, but it was Blues legend Brett Hull who got Twitter revved up.

Before the puck dropped in St. Louis, Hull, the team’s executive vice president, was tasked to get the crowd going, along with fellow alumni Bernie Federko and Bob Plager. After grabbing the mic from Plager, Hull, who appeared quite lively on the telecast, went on to call Federko “the greatest of all time,” as he put an arm around his shoulder.

It didn’t take long for social media to comment on Hull’s current state.

“Brett hull looks wasted lol #LGB,” one Blues fan tweeted.

“Brett Hull has no idea what planet he’s currently living on,” Pete Blackburn of CBS Sports wrote.

“Brett Hull is grade 11 drunk right now,” actor Gerry Dee posted.

It remains to be seen what Twitter can expect from Hull come Game 7 on Wednesday night.
