Rick Nash rejoined the Rangers on the ice for Tuesday morning’s skate after which the blue chip Blueshirt said that he hopes, “to be back shortly.”

“I feel good,” said the winger, who will miss his fourth straight Tuesday night when the Jets come to the Garden. “It’s a positive, positive day for sure.”

Nash has been sidelined while believed suffering from the after-effects of having his head driven into the glass by the Bruins’ Milan Lucic in Boston on Feb. 12. The winger, who did play in the two games immediately following that one before leaving the lineup, sidestepped the question of whether he’d been concussed on the play.

“It was a lot of different things; I’ve been banged up quite a bit and obviously didn’t feel I could compete out there,” said Nash, who had skated on his own a handful of times prior to Tuesday morning. “It was a bunch of things; I don’t want to be specific.

“I’m not a doctor. It’s tough for me to analyze [whether I had a concussion]. It wasn’t something where I could look at myself and say I had that issue. That’s up to the doctors.”

Nash said he would check with medical trainer Jim Ramsay regarding a timetable for a return. The Rangers, who have lost three straight (0-2-1) while scoring a sum of three goals in No. 61’s absence, are home on Thursday to face Tampa Bay.

Ryan McDonagh, who did not practice on Monday and did not participate in Tuesday morning’s unusually well attended optional skate, is not expected to be in the lineup against Winnipeg. The defenseman left Saturday’s game in Montreal at 7:20 of the second period when he was driven face-first into the glass.
