The Rangers made another move to bolster their front line, announcing Wednesday they have agreed to terms with forward Matthew Lombardi.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Lombardi has played 536 games in the NHL for five different teams, most recently playing for the Coyotes and Ducks during the 2012-13 season. He has also played for Calgary, Nashville and Toronto, and has totaled 262 points in his career — 101 goals and 161 assists.

The 32-year-old spent last season in Switzerland, playing for Geneve-Servette of National League A (NLA). In 46 games, he tallied a league-best 50 points — 20 goals and 30 assists.

Lombardi was chosen with the seventh round (215th overall) in the 2000 NHL Draft by the Oilers, but did not sign. Two years later, the Montreal native was chosen in the third round (90th overall) by the Flames, and made an immediate impact as a rookie, tallying six points during the 2004 playoffs as Calgary came within one game of a Stanley Cup.
