Eric Hegedüs was a deputy editor at the New York Post. Eric had worked the New York Post since 2005. Before that, he was primarily a visual journalist, with roles as a designer and photo editor at The Philadelphia Inquirer and a photo director and photographer for various Gannett publications. An entertainment junkie, he is a longtime “Star Trek” fan and does not consider the term “Trekkie” a pejorative; it is a badge of honor. He is also a past national president of NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists.
