Sure, the adored KitchenAid Stand Mixer takes up the bulk of your counter space, but make room — Vitamix’s blenders are a splurge-worthy item to pick up during Amazon Prime Day 2022.

Not only will one of these luxe blenders pair nicely with your newly minted coffee machine and toaster oven, but it’s one of our favorite products that we reviewed.

For one, a Vitamix blender has the ability to break down whole produce (think: a large head of kale) and its high-performance blades will crush, spin and heat up your ingredients into fresh creations, like purees and hummus.

“You can do things you just can’t do in an average blender,” Desiree Nielsen, RD, a Vancouver-based nutritionist and author of the bestselling cookbook, “Eat More Plants,” told the New York Post. “You can make nut butter and turn cashews into cream, so you can turn very dense foods into very smooth and creamy soups or sauces. You don’t get that same effect from a food processor or standard blender.”

Ahead, we pulled the best Vitamix blender deals so you don’t have to. Nielsen also outlines some FAQs on the popular kitchen appliance, including some of its benefits and notes on use. We 100% stand by the product and hope you’ll take advantage of today to pick one up before they’re back to full price.

Along with this deal, make sure to check out other Prime Day favorites for the kitchen, including the coveted Keurig, as well as more deals on TV’s, furniture and more.

An FAQ on Vitamix blenders

Ahead, find some tips and tidbits from a registered dietitian who swears by this countertop essential.

How can a Vitamix save time in the kitchen?

You don’t have to be a world-class chef to make healthy meals, according to Nielsen. “A blender makes a lot of five- and 10-minute recipes possible, so if you want to get all of those healthy whole foods in but don’t want to spend a lot of time chopping or cooking, it collapses that timeline for you and it makes it easy to eat healthy,” she explained.

Nielsen loves her Vitamix for making energy bars, her five-minute vegan cashew cream alfredo sauce and her glorious greens soup in a pinch, in particular. Since the soup recipe requires some cooking, she advises halving the garlic and onion and blend away.

How can a Vitamix aid in healthy habits?

Healthy meals aside, it’s equally as important to have your Vitamix in a smart place.

“Keep it on the counter where you see it and will use it, particularly if you’re running around saying, ‘Ahhh, I don’t know what to eat,’” Nielsen said. “You can say, ‘Oh, I can just make a smoothie,’ or ‘oh, I can just pop all these veggies in the blender and make a soup.’ It will remind you how easy it is to make something healthy, as opposed to just calling for takeout, which many of us are pretty used to doing.”

What’s your go-to Vitamix smoothie recipe?

For a gentle sweetness, Nielsen adores her turmeric ginger smoothie with greens, geared toward “people who don’t think they like green smoothies.” For a different variation, she recommends trying out her turmeric, ginger, and mango smoothie in a Vitamix. What’s more, you can throw in the orange whole — peel included — thanks to Vitamix’s high-performance blades. A smoothie is a healthy way to up your count on vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds before walking out the door in the morning, Nielsen adds.

Is there a warranty on Vitamix blenders?

“When so many things feel like they’re not made to last — like my toaster that I have to keep buying every two years — a high-speed blender, like Vitamix, is typically backed by a good warranty and is built to last,” Nielsen said. Assuringly, Vitamix offers a 10-year warranty for manufacturing defects or wear and tear over time, should you experience any.

How do you clean your Vitamix?

Nielsen recommends rinsing the jug, especially if your model doesn’t automatically clean. It will save you much scrubbing time later.

“My blender has a wash setting where you put a couple of drops of soap in it, plus water, and turn it on for 30 seconds and it does the washing for you, which is awesome,” Nielsen adds.
