Regardless of how you got here, I’m pleased to have you following along.
Amazon’s 10th annual Prime Day is winding down, and it’s one of my favorite times of the year. I absolutely love to shop, and I’m always focused on getting the best price I can, to the point where my level of research and deal hunting, especially for those big purchases, sometimes annoys my husband to no end because he just wants us to get the damn thing.
I always shop Prime Day — and have since the beginning.
I use it as a time to restock all the basics as well as an excuse to try the new stuff I’ve had my eyes on for some time.
So this year, in honor of the 10-year anniversary, here are a handful of the best purchases I have made in Prime Days past that I still swear by to this day — every one of which is still on sale until midnight tonight.
Bose QuietComfort Ultra Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones
AmazonThese headphones are the real deal, and I’ve recommended them to many. The price is still a bit steep, but they’re worth it. When you wear them you’re entirely immersed in your audio — the noise cancelling does a great job. Great for being in your own world (while traveling in particular) and works great for Zoom meetings, too.
Philips Hue A19 LES Smart Light Bulbs (White and Color) – 3 Pack
AmazonThese are smart light bulbs, and I use these all over my house. Just imagine… you’re in bed and you realize a light is on in the other room… and you don’t have to get up to turn it off. These bulbs can be controlled by voice with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Homekit (with Bridge). The colors are fun too. I love to watch horror movies and sometimes will set a stark red tone in the room, or if I’m trying to feel tranquil will set a soft blue hue.
Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C & Turmeric Face Oil
AmazonThis product is one of the best I’ve ever tried. Over 30% off for Prime Day; you should just not ask questions and try it. The oil has a good, not sticky consistency, and I always feel like I’m glowing with a little bit of dew when I use it. Just make sure to use a face sunscreen as well.
Tatcha Products
AmazonTatcha is the real deal. Everything I’ve ever tried from this brand is so thoughtfully delicate. The moisturizer and cleansers are really just as light as air. Right now, Tatcha is selling a set featuring their Camellia Cleansing Oil, The Silk Cream, and The Silk Sunscreen. This is a great way to get a sense of the brand while they’re on sale for Prime Day.
IGOKOTI Desk Vacuum Cleaner Mini
AmazonI have bought three of these. I think I was second-hand influenced by TikTok. I’m not going to lie; one was kind of a bust, but at this general price, I bought another yesterday. I love to cook, and these things live in my kitchen. They’re perfect for cleaning up crumbs, flour and things without having to use a paper towel or dirty a cloth.
Bose SoundLink Flex Bluetooth Speaker
AmazonThe sound this little guy produces is remarkable, which is why people generally love their Bose (see headphones above). The charge lasts for a great amount of time, and it charges quickly once it does run out. I’ve had mine for many years, and basically, it’s my entire at-home audio system.
