All good things must come to an end.
The Christmas Season, season two of White Lotus, and now, Thursday Night Football.
Yes, it’ll be back next season, but its inaugural year on Prime Video comes to an end tonight in Tennessee, as the 11-4 Cowboys face off against the 7-8 Titans on the latter’s home turf.
As we always say here at The Post: don’t cry because it’s over; smile because it happened. We watched a lot of great football this season and had a reason to look forward to Thursday nights all fall (in addition, of course, to the official start of the Pre-kend, Thursday evening through Friday afternoon).
The Cowboys are riding high, having handed the Eagles the second season loss on Christmas Eve, 40 to 34. Of the two, neither team has anything to worry about as far as playoffs go, but sometimes it’s about more than that: it’s about the prestige.
The Titans, meanwhile, are on a losing streak, having lost every matchup since their 27-17 victory over the Packers in mid-November. Can the Titans pull off an upset, or will the Cowboys continue their winning streak to cap off TNF for the season? There’s only one subscription you need to find out.
Below, we’ve outlined how to watch, when to tune in, and what the matchup means for the two teams’ playoff chances.
How to watch Thursday Night Football on Prime Video

For the last time in the 2022-2023 season, Thursday Night Football is streaming exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, free with a subscription or a 30-day free trial.
In addition to every Thursday Night Football game, including pre- and post-show coverage, a Prime Video subscription grants you access to some of the season’s biggest movies, like Harry Styles’ “My Policeman,” Amazon Original holiday movies, like “Something from Tiffany’s” and a massive slate of Original Series, including “The Boys,” “The Peripheral,” and more
When does the game start?
As always, kickoff is at approximately 8:15 EST, with pregame coverage beginning at 7:00 EST and post-game coverage to follow. It’ll be a long, exciting night as the Cowboys and the Titans bring TNF to a close for the year. Heat your Christmas leftovers; we’ll be here for a while.
What can I expect from tonight’s game?
In short: most likely a rollicking.
We like to keep our sports analysis interesting here at the New York Post, but there’s really no way to beat around the bush: the Cowboys are one of the best teams in the league this season, and the Titans are resoundingly mediocre.
Of both teams’ last five games, the Cowboys have won all but one. The Titans, on the other hand, have lost everyone. They’ll need a miracle to win this game and another to win against Jacksonville and claim a seat in the playoffs.
It is the holiday season, however. Miracles happen. Tune into Prime Video tonight, and just maybe, you’ll catch sight of one.
