I did something dramatic and slightly unhinged: I purged my entire skincare routine.

Gone. Tossed. Cleared.

For context, I’m obsessed with K-beauty, so saying goodbye to certain products felt like The Bachelor walking out a contestant who didn’t receive the final rose.

When I flew to Seoul a few months ago, I stepped into actual skincare labs, touched raw formulations (yes, really) and got the inside scoop on buzzy ingredients like PDRN, snail mucin and what actually works for sensitive, glow-chasing skin. The Anua Heartleaf 77 Soothing Toner is basically a stress reliever in liquid form. Heartleaf is a K-beauty hero for calming redness and this one feels like a deep exhale for irritated skin.

The Anua Rice 70 Glow Milky Toner brings nourishment and that coveted glass-skin sheen. It’s creamy but light, perfect for layering when your skin feels dull.

The Physiogel Calming Relief Redness Relieving Facial Cream is what I’d call a “dermatologist’s favorite.” It’s no-frills, deeply soothing and ideal when your skin barrier is hanging by a thread.

Abib’s Collagen Gel Mask is pure spa energy. It hugs the face, drenches it in hydration and leaves you looking suspiciously well-rested.

Torriden DIVE IN Hyaluronic Acid Soothing Cream is a hydration bomb without heaviness. Think plump, juicy skin with zero stickiness.

AESTURA ATOBARRIER365 Hydro CERA-HA Face Serum is barrier repair in a bottle. Ceramides plus hyaluronic acid equals calm, resilient skin.

The belif Aqua Bomb SPF 45 makes sunscreen feel like skincare, not a chore. It’s lightweight, hydrating and plays nicely under makeup.

The Biodance Pore Perfecting Collagen Peptide Cream targets texture while keeping things cushiony. It’s a hidden gem in the K-beauty space, and one that needs more attention.

The Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream is my go-to when my skin throws a tantrum. It’s calming and creamy.

The S.NATURE Aqua Squalane Moisturizing Cream seals everything in with a silky finish. It’s understated but deeply nourishing.

It’s a secret treasure on Amazon, but most definitely worth the hype. MEDIHEAL Collagen Firming Pads are the ultimate lazy-girl toner step. Pore pads are great; simply swipe, press, glow — done.

All hail the holy grail. COSRX 96% Advanced Snail Mucin Power Essence is the icon for a reason. It hydrates, repairs and gives that glossy, healthy sheen.

As the best peptide serum I reviewed, the COSRX The 6 Peptide Skin Booster adds a subtle firming boost. It’s lightweight and seriously a superstar.
