Around this time of year, we’re hearing it all: New Year, New Me; this is going to be my year, etc.

We’ll put it to you this way: what better way to prepare for 2023 than to wake up to a fresh, clean space?

That’s where a quality cordless vacuum can do the trick, like the Samsung Jet 75. Compared to other models on the market, it has a extraordinarily slim design (which makes maneuvering a snap) and is fairly affordable, given all that it can do.

Samsung Jet 75, $300, original price: $400

The Samsung Jet 75 can be purchased for $300 right now, or you can follow Samsung’s monthly payment plans:

  • Pay $12.50 a month for 24 months
  • Pay $75 in four biweekly installments

The reason we adore this model, specifically, is for its nifty features that come at a great value. Its 6-pound lightweight design features a removable, rechargeable battery that boasts up to 60 minutes of run time. What’s more, it’s compatible with Samsung Clean Station, the brand’s hygienic cleaning and filtration solution for your home.

Now, let’s get down to the finer details. The Samsung Jet 75 comes with a turbo brush head that works exceptionally well on carpets, along with other surfaces. Impressively, it’s clad with an intense suction power of up to 200 air watts which, after doing some research, is recommended for upright vacuums.

The Samsung Jet 75 has an efficient spick-and-span cleaning system that helps optimize airflow, thanks to its multicyclonic air filtration instantly traps dust particles. In other words, rest assured this model nearly doubles as an air purifier (which is ideal if you have pets or struggle with allergies of any kind).

Looking at the vacuum more closely, it’s designed with a five-layer HEPA filtration system that captures pet dander, pollen and other nonliving allergens. It picks up large clumps of dust, locks in fine dust and traps 99.999% of micro-dust, per its product description.

Notably, it transforms into a handheld vacuum of sorts, allowing you to snake into the crevices of stairs, under sofas and other hard-to-reach places. Need to clean the top of your bathroom mirror but can’t reach? The Samsung Jet 75 has you covered.

All of the versatility characteristic of the Samsung Jet 75 is applauded to its 180-degree swivel design that enables the vacuum to change direction with ease. With its digital display, too, you can even check notifications on your model — including the power level and brush type — as well as monitor alerts like airflow issues, clogs, a missing filter and more.

There’s even an option for your Samsung Jet 75 to include a wet mode, though that’s only available with Samsung’s Spinning Sweeper Brush accessory ($130). But, if you prefer to use the vacuum as-is (which is still brilliant), you’ll appreciate that it comes with a long-reach crevice tool — that reaches tight corners, crevices and other awkward areas — and a combination tool that’s apt for dusting and upholstered furniture surfaces.

Oh, and if you’re working with a small space — don’t fret. Because of Samsung’s flexible charging, you can mount the Samsung Jet 75 on the wall for simple and convenient use. Or, to save space, perhaps you’d like to store your newly minted modern vacuum inside a closet to keep it out of the way.

The Samsung Jet 75 also functions with a standalone charger if you prefer keeping it mount-free. Simply remove the included battery and charge it anywhere.

Samsung also has a 75+ model ($450), which boasts double the runtime (120 minutes), comes with an extra battery. However, this model isn’t much different from the original Jet 75 model from a quick once-over, but recommended if you prefer long, deep cleaning sessions without needing a charge.

The New York Post Shopping team is excited to test and review the Samsung Jet 75 vacuum in the coming weeks. But for now, its quality and value marry to make a wonderfully efficient, lightweight model we recommend.
