You haven’t seen a bat flip like this.

A mysterious bat appeared to invade the Citi Field press box Tuesday night hours before the Mets were set to battle the Cincinnati Reds, as captured by The Post’s Ken Davidoff and Mike Puma.

The blood-thirsty critter rounded the media’s home base multiple times before a maintenance worker captured it. New York City is home to nine different bat species.

“The Dark Knight returns?” one Twitter user scoffed in response. Unlikely, for Matt Harvey’s Los Angeles Angels won’t get a bite of the Mets this season.

Perhaps the bat serves as an omen — the rebirth of the Mets under GM Brodie Van Wagenen. Or maybe it just wanted to kill the beat reporters’ early deadlines.

Just next time, leave the bats on the field.
