Mitt Romney is throwing his hat into the ring — the boxing ring.

The former presidential candidate will strap on the gloves and duke it out with former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield in a charity boxing event on May 15 in Salt Lake City, a report said.

“It will either be a very short fight, or I will be knocked unconscious,” Romney joked in an interview with The Salt Lake City Tribune. “It won’t be much of a fight. We’ll both suit up and get in the ring and spar around a little bit.”

The event is a fundraiser for Charity Vision, a nonprofit organization that works to help the blind.

Romney, 68, thought it’d be fun to spar with “The Real Deal” Holyfield.

“We just thought it would be a lot better to provide this kind of entertainment rather than just have dinner and listen to speakers,” Romney said.
