Marcus Camby believes it would be a big mistake to trade Latrell Sprewell, who has drawn interest from other clubs. The 14-23 Knicks have no untouchables.

“He’s out best player, our favorite player around the Knicks and New York,” Camby said of Sprewell. “If they trade him, it’s not going to sit well with the fans and the city.”

Camby added, “I don’t think personnel changes need to be done. We’re down now. We expect to have a better record. We just need to do our jobs better.”
