Surely, this was one of the most bizarre scenes in recent New York hoops history. But it also was one of the most entertaining nights of basketball.

With a spectacular 30-point explosion by senior Brian Woodward, Cardozo High outlasted Lincoln, 97-88, in overtime to win the Kenny Smith Holiday Prep/High School Basketball Classic last night at F.I.T. in Manhattan before about 100 drained fans.
