WCBS Ch. 2 yesterday named Ducis Rodgers its new weekend sports anchor. Rodgers, who spent the previous eight years with the Fox affiliate in Miami, is expected to replace Gary Apple, beginning next weekend. Apple has been with Ch. 2 since 1996.

Rodgers, first name pronounced “deuces,” joins Warner Wolf and Duke Castiglione on Ch. 2 News’ sports team.
