Former UFC fighter Rodrigo de Lima was killed Sunday, when he allegedly was run over by a rideshare driver following a dispute in Belem, Brazil.

The 26-year-old de Lima was a passenger in the car with a few friends when an argument ensued with the driver. The driver initially drove away after de Lima got out of the car, but he returned and struck the fighter from behind with the vehicle, according to MMA Fighting.

According to reports, police still are searching for the driver.

Rodrigo, known as “Monstro” (or Monster), had two UFC bouts in 2014 and 2015, losing to Neil Magny and Efrain Escudero. He finished his MMA career 11-3. He is survived by a wife and two children.
