Mr. 3000 (2004)

Stan Ross (Bernie Mac) ends his baseball career with exactly 3,000 hits – but years later a technicality strips him of three of them and he comes out of retirement to get back to the magic milestone.

His former team, the Milwaukee Brewers, gives him a chance to play as a publicity stunt, and Ross struggles to get into shape and recapture his accomplishment in this comedy.
