Inter wrapped up the signing of Portsmouth midfielder Sulley Muntari on Monday, then indicated that Chelsea’s Frank Lampard is no longer in their sights.
Inter’s director Gabriele Oriali said Muntari would be “our last acquisition [of the summer transfer season].”
Oriali also said the team will now work on cutting down its roster in time for the start of the Serie A season on Aug. 31.
“Now we must work on reducing the squad as coach Jose Mourinho wants 22 players and three goalkeepers,” he said.
