Giants rookie receiver Victor Cruz made many new fans with his three-TD performance against the Jets on Monday night — including LeBron James.

James wrote on his Twitter account, “Victor Cruz going nuts on the Jets tonight on #MNF. Undrafted rookie from UMass. He’s gonna have a job this year for sure.”

Asked about the tweet after his breakout performance, Cruz replied, “Did he really? Wow. That’s crazy. I didn’t hear that.”

The undrafted player from Paterson caught three touchdowns, helping the Giants to a 31-16 win over the Jets in the first football game at New Meadowlands Stadium.

“It was a surreal feeling and I’m sure my phone is going crazy right now,” Cruz said. “So I mean it’s just a great feeling just to do it at home in front of friends and family.”
